Hair, Art and Music!
A visit to Asbury Park, New Jersey is where I found summer. The boardwalk, beaches and Music venues are so accessible and fun. Along the Boardwalk you will feel the holiday energy, and something for everyone to enjoy. Along the walls there are many works of art, from creative visual to Music Legends. After the Hurricane a few years back they are re vamping Asbury Park as the place to be at the Jersey Shore. Beautiful days at the beach, toddler kids water park right on the boardwalk, or "Yappy hour" at Wonder Bar for your Dog to play, there is fun to be had by all. These were some of my favorites..
Live Music is everywhere, on beach stages, and indoor Music Venues. The Stone Pony Summerstage is an outdoor venue that is affordable and hosts many greats! We attended The Revivalists concert on the Friday night, and were pleasantly surprised to find that this venue was well organised and had a great crowd to enjoy the event with. The history of The Stone Pony goes way back and was saved and home to many top Musicians. Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi to name a few. The Empress Hotel which is right next door proved to be the ideal location to stay! It is clean, friendly and the fact that you can walk steps to the boardwalk or the Stone Pony made this experience exceptional.
